The US ends its COVID-19 Unvaccinated Travel Ban! The White House just announced, that they will end the unscientific and inhumane travel ban on May 11, 2023!
This comes just days, after a -recently upgraded to- CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT, is being brought forward against President Biden, the CDC, Walensky, Mayorkas, Miller and the United States of America - in regard to the COVID-19 Travel Ban!
The initiator of this lawsuit, a citizen of the Netherlands, who is on an E2 visa, was not able to visit his home country and return to the US, since 2019, because of the mandate.
So finally, the US is now the last western country who ends this unscientific and inhumane travel ban, which keeps so many people from visiting familiy and friends.
Here’s a list of countries, that currently do not allow unvaccinated visitors:
After May 11 - unless Indonesia and Pakistan follow, there will be no major country left to enforce a travel ban.
This means, that COVID-19 vaccination will NOT be required for any non-immigrant visas or visa-waivers starting May 12, 2023!
A COVID-19 vaccination requirement for permanent residents (green card) remains in place - however, it appears there's at least the option to apply for an exemption via form I-693.
Unbelievable it took this long.
I have cousins who moved to Bali. Hoping they drop it too so we can finally visit them.
BTW, speaking of lawsuits, LA County Health Director, Barbara Ferrer is being sued over mask mandates as well as other bad policies.
